According to the White House official website, 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue has been one of the most famous addresses in America with a well-kept secret – its haunted past. Since its founding at the turn of the 19th century, residents of the White House and staffers alike have reported everything from mysterious noises to ghostly apparitions.
